My weekend itinerary near the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel & Conference Center in Pomona, California includes a visit to Fairplex, the Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, the nearby Splash Kingdom Waterpark, Knott’s Berry Farm theme park, and a hike along the scenic Pacific Electric Trail. On Friday evening I would visit the Fairplex with its wide selection of entertainment and events, including the weekly farmers market. On Saturday morning I would visit Splash Kingdom Waterpark and enjoy the slides and pools, and then on to Knott’s Berry Farm where I would ride a roller coaster and visit the Ghost Town. Sunday morning I would take a hike along the Pacific Electric Trail and explore the Los Angeles River. By afternoon I would be ready to kick back and relax at the Sheraton Fairplex, maybe with a massage at the spa. This would be an action-packed and fun-filled weekend in Southern California.
