The award-winning Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is situated on 1,500 acres in the Lake Buena Vista area, close to Orlando's many famous theme parks. The legendary hotel recently completed its $45 million renovation with modern restyling of all 815 guestrooms and suites. Each guestroom is smartly-designed with emphasis on conservation, guest comfort and convenience. Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers a variety of recreational activities, including 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf, racquet club, a 21-acre lake with water sports, and a 1/2-acre lagoon swimming pool with waterfalls, waterslides, and Camp Hyatt children's programs.

WATER JET SPLASH ZONE: Nestled into the freeform rockwork and grotto of the signature lagoon pool is a new interactive water feature with 39 low, medium, and high level pop-jets providing lively play on a wet deck. Timed jets rhythmically spray 2 to 5 feet high, with a center high-intensity jet spraying 7 feet into the air. The jets are programmed to shower at a rate of 10 times per second for endless fun day and night with LED lighting for a full color spectrum. Seating walls within the rockwork and discovery paths lead to the new Rock Climbing stations, new Water Slide Tower Pavilion, and heated pool.

ROCK CLIMBING STATIONS: Alongisde the Water Slide Tower Pavilion, and blended into the rockwork of the grotto, children enjoy four rock climbing areas with climbing  hand and footholds of varying difficulty for the beginner to intermediate climber. The climbing areas range in heights from 9 to 14 feet offering options based on age, weight, and skill. Additionally, the 24-foot, free-standing rock climbing wall is located nearby on the beach of Lake Windsong for the more advanced climber or a team building activity.

WATER SLIDE TOWER PAVILION: From atop the grotto rockwork adjacent to Hemingway's specialty restaurant, a new open-flume water slide twists and turns 124 feet in lenght, plunges 17.5 feet, and runs low to the ground, through palms and lush landscaping before splashing guests into the heated pool. Children and adults alike enjoy the slide for a burst of simple fun.

ON THE ROCKS POOL BAR: The new pool bar, On the Rocks, is situated along Lake Windsong, offering views of the lagoon and beach. The new pool bar is the hub of outdoor activity with four 60" TVs, relaxing, shaded seating with misting fans, 16 bar seats and table seating for 20 with full bar and food service options. From grab-and-go selections of fresh salads, sandwiches, and beverages to popular grill station favorites of Panini sandwiches, burgers, and the all-American hot dog, the pool bar offers convenience and value. For guests seeking to linger a little longer, signature cocktails such as the Goombay Smash, Cypress Rum Runner, and Frozen Caribbean Colada provide the perfect concoction to pair with the most popular pool side noshes including Crispy Calamari, Crab Cakes Sandwich, and the Florida Mahi-Mahi Taco.

FITNESS CENTER-LARGER FACILITY WITH HIGH-TECH EQUIPMENT: The Hyatt StayFit fitness center expanded from 1,000 to 2,500 square feet featuring the latest in Life Fitness Cardio equipment complete with personal integrated LCD televisions for 24 hour day access to state-of-the-art cross trainers, treadmills, Lifecycle, free weights, and strength stations. The integrated LCD televisions offer guests enhanced interaction, Internet connectivity, and endless entertainment options.

These new features complement the resort's favorite recreation activities including; S'mores pit with fireside storytelling and classic family marshmallow roasting fun; 1,000 feet of white sandy beach at the 21-acre of Lake Windsong with beach volleyball, tether ball, lounge seating and hammocks; watersports with paddleboats, kayaks, hydro bikes, canoes, aqua cycles and sailboats; old-fashioned, canopied surrey bikes; and marked jogging, walking, and biking trails, just to name a few!

Resort Fees: The Additional Mandatory Resort Charge listed below is the Resort Fee of $25.00 plus tax, per room, per night. This fee is payable directly to the hotel upon check-in. 

The Hotel Services Program Fee provides use of hotel activities and amenities including: Guest room Internet, unlimited access for local, 800 or 888 calls and in-state credit card calls, intra-property transportation, unlimited use of the Health Club, 9-hole Pitch & Putt course, golf driving range access, court time at the Racquet Club for individual guest play for a walk on basis only (Court Fees will apply for reserved guaranteed court times), basketball, volleyball, rock climbing wall and all water sports including non-motorized boats (Hydro bikes, sail boats, paddle boats and canoes), as well as resort bicycles and quadricycles.  Also included is scheduled, complimentary shuttle to Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure theme parks.  Hours of transportation may vary based on the seasonal park hours.  Current shuttle service schedule will be available at the Hotel’s Concierge desk.  

Parking Fees: Overnight Valet Parking $31.00 plus tax or Overnight Self Parking $22.00 plus tax.

The property offers 40 handicap accessible rooms and 27 of those rooms offer roll in showers. Please check for availability. Also, pets up to 50 pounds are allowed in the property. There is a $50 pet fee per night and a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100.
